Expert Tree Care
Trees, despite their seemingly immovable nature, can be very destructive. Their roots can upend fences, dismantle sheds, and force their way through bricks and pipework. Similarly, branches broken during storms can cause extensive damage to roofs and guttering.
At Enviroworx, we offer a comprehensive range of tree surgery and grounds maintenance services to address these issues:
- Tree Pruning: Including crown reduction to control tree size, crown lifting to raise the canopy, and crown thinning to improve light penetration and reduce wind resistance.
- Tree Felling: Safely removing trees that are dead, diseased, or pose a risk to people and property.
- Dismantling Dangerous Trees: Carefully cutting trees in sections when they cannot be felled in one piece due to location or condition.
- Stump Grinding: Removing tree stumps to clear space and prevent regrowth.
We respond quickly to your call, conducting a full survey of your property and trees to determine the necessary work. Utilising the latest equipment, we carry out our tasks efficiently and safely.
If you’re concerned about your trees, have received complaints from a neighbor about overhanging branches, or need a tree cut back to protect the public, contact us for a free consultation.

What is Tree Surgery?
Tree surgery, also known as arboriculture, involves the care and maintenance of trees to ensure their health, safety, and aesthetics. This might include pruning, felling, crown reduction (reducing the size of a tree’s canopy), and disease & pest management.
A tree surgeon or “arboriculturist” is a trained specialist in the care, maintenance, and management of trees. As well as ensuring the health of trees, their role is key to mitigating potential risks to the public posed by diseased or hazardous trees.
Always Safely Delivered
Working with dangerous machinery at height requires a meticulous and careful strategy. At Enviroworx, our comprehensive and responsible approach to tree surgery ensures that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and with respect for the environment.
Before starting any project, we conduct thorough risk assessments and method statements to ensure a safe working environment. We invest heavily in the training and development of our team, ensuring they are fully qualified and equipped for every job. All our arborists are certified to NPTC City and Guilds and Lantra levels, and are qualified to perform any tree work. We also utilise a range of machinery, or ‘mecharb,’ to work safely and efficiently, minimising risks to our team and the public. When working near roads, we implement necessary traffic management to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
We are also committed to protecting the natural environment and wildlife, ensuring that nesting birds are not disturbed and minimizing disruption to the surrounding area.
Additionally, we handle waste management with full licensing for waste disposal. Alternatively, we can leave cleared timber tidily on site for wildlife or for your own use.

Tree removal for Dŵr Cymru
Dŵr Cymru asked us to clear some roadside ash and larch, having had a report that the trees were identified as being diseased and being informed by the local council that they should be removed away from the carriageway in a timely manor.
We implemented full traffic management along the 250 metres of road side for this two week project.
The trees were felled and processed road side one at a time using a mixture of Mechanical arb and felling by hand. The brash was chipped back onto site or wind rowed to create cover for wildlife. The timber was processed to be sold for sawlogs or to be milled.
The site was left very clean and tidy and removes the liability from them should a tree fall onto the carriageway in high winds.
